Download the sample input file from above and fill it as per your requirements using below instructions. All columns details are given below:
1. column_name : Fill the column names for which you want to generate data.Column name should be in small case. eg product, dont use Product or proDuct
2. data_type : Fill the data type as per your column. please choose data type among this list : [string,int,integer,decimal,decimal(38,18),long,double,varchar,float]
3. details : Fill the details about the columns. This is optional field. Details can be used in avsc file.
4. values : Fill the values among which the data is generated. Values should be pipe(|) separated. eg Bread|Butter|Milk. Data will be generated among these values for the column.
5. is_unique : If data to be generated unique or primary key then put the value 'yes'. If not, leave blank.
6. range : Provide the range you want to generate data in between. Range should be pipe separated.The range for date should be in dd-mm-yyyy format. eg. 20000|40000, 20-02-2000|20-04-2025. Remember that difference between the range should be equal to or greater than no. of rows to be generated if is_unique column is 'yes'.
7. length : Length should be number and greater than 0 and less than or equal to 10. eg 8
8. len aft dec : The length after decimal should be number and greater than 0 and less than or equal to 6. eg 4
9. is_date : If date is to be generated then put the value 'yes'. If not, leave blank.
10. date_format : File the date format among this list : [dd/mm/yyyy, dd-mm-yyyy, dd/mm/yy, dd-mm-yy, dd/mmm/yyyy, dd-mmm-yyyy, dd/mmm/yy, dd-mmm-yy]
11. case_string : Case string can be 'upper' or 'lower'.
12. null_percent : If some blank data is required then use some integer(not decimal) value between 10 to 90. eg 30. means approx 30% data generated will be blank.
13. regex : Data can be generated using regex. eg. email can be generated using regex ^[a-z0-9]+(?!.*(?:\+{2,}|\-{2,}|\.{2,}))(?:[\.+\-]{0,1}[a-z0-9])*@gmail\.com$
14. num_as_str : If number to be generated as string, put the value 'yes'. If not, leave blank.
15. is_linked_with : If column need to be linked with any other column, provide existing column name. Remember that linked column should be generated before new column to be generate.If not, leave blank. eg for column_9 to be linked with column_8, column_8 should be generate first than column_9.

3. Data will not be generated for sql and avsc file
1. You can generate data as per your requirements upto very high volume. Currently supporting 10 to 1 Crore rows.
2. Data can be generate similar to UAT or PROD data with maintaining the confidentiality of the data.
2. Developers can use generated data in SIT env for their development.
4. You can generate data in multiple file formats ie CSV, TXT, PARQUET, AVRO, XML, JSON, SQL, AVSC.
